                     The Missippi River

The river system comprising of the Missippi Missouri, and Jefferson rivers, is regarded as the world's fourth longest river system drain 31 US states and 2 Canadian provinces.  The Missippi River being in northern Minnesota where lake itsca is believed to be the source of the river and drains into the Gulf of Mexico . However , when we regarded the Jefferson. River as the furthest source of the Missippi River then we get the Missippi -Missouri -Jefferson river system.
